No Pants Island
March 21, 2005, 4:13 pmSam Dulmage has been by our place a number of times - he’s a buddy of Toren’s, which is how I’ve crossed paths with him. Sam, besides being a movie master, is a movie maker. Again, through Toren, I’ve seen a couple of short films done by him and his cohorts at Steam Powered Films, and they are to making me laugh muchly.
The last one I saw was Hooped and it’s tough to explain to people, especially in polite company, but it’s hilarious and has added the term “No Pants Island” to my lexicon.
FINALLY, the film is available online through IFILM, so, go check it out for a good laugh. Not for kids, mind you. Lots of filthy, filthy language.

The Blanket That Ended the Century, pt. 2
March 18, 2005, 3:19 pmI talked to the family last night, briefly, and mom was excited to tell me at the quilt is almost done. And she sent proof this morning. The whole face is done, now it’s just stitching the layers together (I assume - I’m not a quilting expert. She’s the quilting expert.)
How keen is that!?
